Attendees Explore Raising Yield Potential at Syngenta Learning Center Demonstration Days

Challenging spring weather and volatile markets are drawing hundreds of growers, dealers and industry leaders to the Syngenta Learning Center Demonstration Days across the Midwest. The Demonstration Days provide attendees an opportunity to explore new technologies and learn how to boost profit potential under today's growing conditions.

"Corn and soybean prices continue to rise to record levels," said Jim Elliott, AgriEdge® Agronomy Services Manager, Syngenta. "Through the Syngenta Learning Centers, we're working with growers to help meet the world's growing demand by boosting yields and increasing their profit potential."

In the field, attendees explored crop management options that can make operations more precise or efficient. The Demonstration Days are a hands-on opportunity to understand how local growing conditions and new technologies affect the bottom line. Featured speakers at noon also highlight agriculture issues affecting the United States.

Now in the program's fifth year, the Syngenta Learning Centers are focused on providing information about a wide range of crop management factors that impact yield, including plant genetics, seed traits, seed treatments and crop protection inputs. Each Syngenta Learning Center site incorporates local tillage practices, planting dates, application timing and fertility.
