Everyone has their own unique situations in their fields, making blanket recommendations unsuitable for most growers. Syngenta strives to provide the most valuable information for growers through the Resistance Management Solutions Module. After answering a few easy, brief questions the module will provide a personalized weed management program corresponding with a grower's unique needs and situation.

Check out these scenarios:

Scenario 1:

  1. Growing glyphosate-tolerant (GT) corn
  2. In Crittenden County, Arkansas
  3. Using a two-pass system
  4. Conventional tillage
  5. Struggling with glyphosate-resistant Palmer pigweed
  • Solution: Bicep II Magnum® pre-emergence followed by Callisto® plus AAtrex® tank-mixed with Touchdown® (glyphosate) post-emergence

Scenario 2:

  1. Growing GT soybeans
  2. In Black Hawk County, Iowa
  3. Using a two-pass system
  4. Reduced tillage
  5. Struggling with glyphosate-resistant waterhemp
  • Solution: PrefixTM applied pre-emergence followed by a tank-mix of FirstRate® plus Touchdown® (glyphosate) applied post-emergence. Or, Boundary® applied pre-emergence followed by a tank-mix of Flexstar® plus Touchdown® (glyphosate) applied post-emergence.

The Resistance Management Solutions Module takes into account the individual needs and obstacles of an individual field. What scenario is most familiar to you? What are your big concerns for next season?

Important: Always read and follow label instructions before buying or using these products. AAtrex® and Bicep II Magnum® are Restricted Use Pesticides. AAtrex®, Bicep II Magnum®, Boundary®, Callisto®, Flexstar®, PrefixTM and Touchdown® are trademarks of a Syngenta Group Company. FirstRate® Herbicide is a trademark of Dow AgroSciences LLC.
