What Would Your Ideal Herbicide Look Like?

An article featured in Southwest Farm Press recently discusses herbicides in wheat, and attempts to determine what would make the perfect herbicide.

There are several things that everyone would love to see in an herbicide in any crop – An affordable price, no restrictions, an open application window, environmentally-friendly and of course, no weed resistance to the herbicide.

Sadly, there aren’t any herbicides that fit every category 100 percent, therefore growers must choose their herbicides wisely based on the their individual needs, history and preferences.

If you are a grower experiencing herbicide resistance or are actively pursuing options to avoid resistance development, what herbicides do you find most helpful?  What are the brands you trust most, and why?  What characteristics would your ideal herbicide have?
