Weed Resistance Presents Challenges for Cereal Growers

Cereal crops are different than corn and soybeans when it comes to weed resistance.  There are fewer herbicide options available, so it becomes even more essential for growers to protect the herbicides they have.  As resistance education materials become more popular and available, more cereal growers are learning about resistance and are adopting a “take-charge” attitude that has helped them become more successful.  A recent white paper developed by Syngenta discusses resistance in cereal crops and offers recommendations to combat its development.  This bulletin can also be found on the Ag Professional Web site here, or in the Technical Bulletin section of the Resistance Fighter™ Web site.
