Are Weed Resistance Management Practices Gaining Momentum?

Lately it seems as though more growers are beginning to understand the consequences of glyphosate resistance and are making management changes to avoid or prevent the development of glyphosate-resistant weeds on their fields.  An article in Integrated Pest Management from the University of Missouri discusses the gradual acceptance in Missouri of using a preemergence herbicide application in glyphosate tolerant soybeans, a practice that until recently, was often scoffed.

The spread of glyphosate-resistant weeds from one county to several throughout a state, as was the case in Missouri with resistant waterhemp (spreading from one county to at least five since 2006), has been a catalyst to prompt some growers to adopt these changes.

What, if any, soybean weed management practices have you changed recently as a result of glyphosate resistant weed pressure?  Would you make any management changes before glyphosate resistant weed pressure became a problem in your field?
